Perform the supply market research and manage the supplier relationship process
Develop specific commodities sourcing strategies
Perform the procurement planning & market forecast
Organize tenders and lead contract negotiations
Cooperate with technical, manufacturing, finance departments
Ensure accurate inventory levels and timely delivery of required commodities and services
Communicate with suppliers during reclaims of purchased material, services or slabs
Prepare contract documents

University degree (Technical degree is preferred, but an equivalent combination of other degrees and experience will be considered).
Strong analytical thinking
Strong negotiating skills
Knowledge of MS office, E-purchasing systems ( SAP, Oracle, etc. )
English – Advanced (daily communication verbal and written)
Russian is a plus
Czech/Slovak – Advanced
At least 3–5 years experience in procurement ( steel, manufacturing, heavy industry), or an equivalent combination
